An escape room is one of Cornwall’s better indoor challenges: 60 minutes, a locked themed room, and a group working out the puzzles together. Here is what the challenge looks like at Locked In Cornwall, our hand-built venue in Camborne.
Our three challenges
Each room is built on site and sets a different kind of puzzle. Puzzle Escape 2.0 is the most forgiving, made for families and first-timers, with an 84% escape rate. Pasty Escape is our most Cornish hour, with 83% getting out in time. The Smoke House Curse is our spookiest room, thick with atmosphere, and the one fewest teams crack inside the hour at 76%. Every game takes 2 to 7 players.
How the hour works
You search the room, find and connect the clues, and work through a sequence of puzzles to reach the exit. A game master keeps an eye on things and can send a hint if you get stuck, so nobody spends the hour staring at the same lock. Every booking is private, so it is only your group in the room.
New to escape rooms?
You do not need any experience. If it is your first go, start with Puzzle Escape 2.0. Games suit all ages, with under-14s playing alongside an adult. For more, see our guides to rainy-day activities in Cornwall and family escape rooms.
Take on the challenge
We are open 10am to 10pm, seven days a week, and prices start at £20 per person. Book a room — it takes about two minutes.
