Escape Rooms Near Falmouth — A Half-Hour Drive to a Five-Time Award Winner

Full disclosure before anything else: we’re in Camborne, not Falmouth — about 30 minutes up the A39 and A30. Plenty of Falmouth groups make that drive anyway, and this page exists to tell you honestly whether you should be one of them.

The short version: if you want rooms that were dreamed up and built by the people who’ll greet you at the door — rather than games bought off a shelf — that’s what’s waiting at the other end.

The rooms

  • The Smoke House Curse — a magical mystery with real teeth. Our spookiest room: 76% escape rate.
  • Puzzle Escape 2.0 — bright, clever and beginner-proof. 84% escape.
  • Pasty Escape — the most Cornish escape room in existence. Piskies. A stolen recipe. 83% escape.

All three run 60 minutes for 2–7 players, from £20 per person, 10am–10pm every day of the week. Any age can play; under-14s bring an adult into the game. Locked In has run since 2016 — Cornwall’s longest-running venue — and holds five TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards (2021, 2023–2026).

“Had the best time ever today at Locked In escape rooms in Camborne. The escape room was so detailed and the story line was very interesting!” — Shou S, TripAdvisor

Making the trip from Falmouth

A39 to Treluswell, up to the A30, off at Camborne West, two minutes to our door: roughly half an hour, with free parking when you arrive (a sentence we’re aware carries weight in Falmouth).

It pairs naturally with the things Falmouth people are already doing: student socials and birthdays that want more than another night on the Moor, work teams from the town’s creative companies — we take up to 21 players across three rooms at once, scored fairly by our competition matrix — and families who’ve done the Maritime Museum and need round two on a wet day.
