Every Cornish family guards its pasty recipe. The right crimp, the proper ratio of swede to potato, the one thing Grandma did differently that made all the difference. Ours had been handed down for generations.
Then the piskies got in.
Now the recipe’s gone — scattered, hidden, and guarded by the mischief of the little folk — and there’s exactly one hour to recover every last ingredient before it’s lost for good. No pressure. It’s only the family legacy at stake.
The most Cornish escape room there is
Pasty Escape could not have been built anywhere else, by anyone else. It’s our award-winning celebration of the county we live in: playful, proper Cornish, and packed with puzzles that make visitors laugh and locals nod in recognition.
It’s also harder than it sounds. Only 83% of teams find every ingredient in time. The piskies play fair, but they don’t play nice.
What to expect
Arrive a couple of minutes before your slot for the briefing, then the door closes and the hunt begins. Expect searching, sorting, a fair bit of shouting ingredient names across the room, and at least one moment where the whole team stops dead because someone’s cracked the thing everyone else had given up on.
Your game master watches throughout and will nudge you if the piskies get the upper hand.

Who it suits
Everyone, honestly — it’s the room we recommend when a group can’t agree. Visitors get a slice of real Cornish culture, competitive teams get a score to beat, and families get a game that never takes itself too seriously. Works brilliantly for birthdays and hen parties too.
